If you can’t find other Confluence users in the recipient field, please check out our FAQ (Cloud) for more information.

Mail Page Configuration

Navigate to Confluence Administration → click on the “Mail Page Configuration” menu link on the left side under the “Apps” sections.

Mail Settings

In the first field of the “Mail Settings” you can decide whether you want to send mails via our mail server or via your own mail server.

More information about our mail server can be found here: Data Security & Privacy (Cloud)

If you want to use your own mail server, you have to enter further technical details in the “Mailserver account” section.

From Address

Define the mail address to be displayed as the originator header information in sent e-mails.

Whether and which sender addresses can be set depends on the mail server used. Some mail servers, for example GMail, force mails to be sent with the sender address that corresponds to the user name. If you use our mail server, this field is hidden and the from address is fixed to “confluence🔁mailpage.app”.

(info) Regardless of the sender address, the email address of the Confluence user who sends the mail via Mail Page App is always set as Reply-To. This ensures that a reply to the mail always arrives at the real sender.

From Name

This is the display name of the sender to be shown in sent mails.

Subject Prefix

This will be the default prefix to the subject information for each e-mail.
