Page Beam with GMail (free account)

We recommend only with limitations to use this method because of:

  1. GMail has a limit of 500 recipients a day.

  2. Login issues, location based issues or similar problems which could occur.

Configuration of your Google Account

  1. Login to Google Account and navigate to SecuritySigning in to Google → App passwords

If you don’t have this option “App passwords”, it might be because you have not set up 2-Step Verification for this account:

Activate 2-Step Verification first before you continue in this tutorial.
If this is not helping, there are perhaps other reasons, see Googles Help Article

  2. In the next step, choose “Mail” as app and “Other” as device:

  3. Then give your app password e.g. the name "Page Beam App" and click generate.

  4. Your App password is now displayed. Please keep it safe, as it will only be displayed once.
