Mail Configuration

Navigate to Confluence Administration → click on the “Mail Page ” menu link on the left side under the “Apps” section and click on the second tab “Mail Page Configuration”.

Mail Settings

In the first field of the “Mail Settings” you can decide whether you want to send mails via our mail server or via your own mail server.

From Address

Define the mail address to be displayed as the originator header information in sent e-mails.

From Name

This is the display name of the sender to be shown in sent mails.

Subject Prefix

This will be the default prefix to the subject information for each e-mail.

Mailserver Account

Server Hostname

Configure the hostname of your mail server to be used to send out mails.

Server Port

Define the TCP port for the mail server

Username

Provide the username credential for authentication to the server

Password

Provide the password credential for authentication to the server
